It is that time of the year, or that time in our lives when it seems like everyone is having babies. I love it as I love making little cute things for them. I find that nothing else can mean more than something made with your own hands and with all the love you put on every single stitch.

To help me decide what to make for two babies that are on the way, I went to one of my favourites resources which, I am sure, most of you will know about RAVELRY.

Below is a selection of some of my favourites. I will soon be sharing with you all how my projects are looking like.

I hope you like them too and happy knitting.

How cute are these owl hats!!! You can access the free pattern here.

aviator hat baby

Here is another adorable hat pattern with an aviator theme. You can access the pattern here.

Blankets are one of my favourite presents to make for newborns and I just love this pattern and the combination of colours. The pattern can be accessed for free here.

baby sock

Something else that I love to knit or crochet are little socks, ballerinas or booties. They are quick to make and they just look gorgeous on the little ones. These are some of my favourites in this category. You can find the patterns here: Ballerinas and socks.
